Written and directed by Michael Palermo, this thriller was an official selection of the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival.
 
 
 
Nat King Cole, The Oscar Peterson Trio, and Coleman Hawkins (02:40) | In this 1957 "Nat King Cole (TV) Show" episode, Cole presents Jazz at the Philharmonic. The introduction is made by Norman Granz, the JATP promotor since 1944. With Cole are Oscar Peterson on piano, Herb Ellis on guitar, and Ray Brown on bass. There is also a sax solo by Hawkins. The song being performed is "Sweet Lorraine".

Walking Across the Atlantic

I wait for the holiday crowd to clear the beach
before stepping onto the first wave.
Soon, I am walking across the Atlantic, thinking about Spain,
checking for whales and waterspouts.
I feel the water holding up my shifting weight.
Tonight I will sleep on its rocking surface;
but, for now, I try to imagine what this must look like to the fish below,
the bottoms of my feet appearing, disappearing.
